APEX Retractable Anchor Posts

The APEX Retractable Anchor Posts (APEX) is an OSHA- and ANSI-approved device that combines the convenience and safety of a fall arrest anchor point with retractable dual hexagonal-shaped posts for stronger gripping. Offering a safer way to climb any fixed ladder, the APEX is ideal for above-ground and below-ground environments including water & wastewater treatment facilities, mines, vaults, power plants, manufacturing facilities, and buildings with interior/exterior ladders for roof access.

The APEX is easier to use and more rugged than alternatives. Its stainless steel lanyard anchor point allows the user to remain connected to the ladder while mounting and unmounting when used in conjunction with a fall arrest system mounted permanently to any fixed ladder. The APEX also provides a positive handhold to maximize safety so the user may step on and step off the top of the ladder in an upright and balanced position in compliance with OSHA 1910.23(d)(3).

Independent testing confirms that APEX meets or exceeds all static and drop test requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.29, 29 CFR 1910.140, and ANSI 2359-16.
